Where is my clients’ data stored?
In Canada, in Montréal: the database and private files, opened through links that expire. To read documents and emails, their content goes through an AI provider in the United States.
Does Prêtik replace our brokerage software?
No. Prêtik prepares the file alongside your software: documents, pre-filled application, lender note and scenarios. You submit to the lender.
What does my client need to install?
Nothing. They get a personal link by email, valid 14 days, in their language, sent from your Outlook mailbox when it’s connected. They accept a short privacy notice, then upload their documents from their phone or computer, as PDFs or photos.
Can the AI make up a number?
Every application value cites its document. The note only cites your approved facts, and any number not in the file is flagged before copying or sending. Ratios and scenarios come from a calculation engine.
Who at my brokerage sees what?
Each brokerage only sees its own files. You choose whether the whole team sees everything, or each broker sees their files and those shared with them. Five roles, two-factor for everyone, every action logged.
How long are documents kept?
Your brokerage chooses, from five to ten years after the last activity; five years is the legal minimum. Then the file is deleted automatically. You can export everything.
Does Prêtik read my whole mailbox?
No. Once Outlook is connected, Prêtik only imports your exchanges with your files’ borrowers. It changes or deletes nothing. The upload link and its reminders go out from your mailbox; a reply, only after your click.
Does my AI learn from me?
Yes, and you see everything. When you correct a note, it updates your style; when you say “remember that…”, it adds it to your brain. Only you can see your notes.
Does Prêtik give mortgage advice?
No. Prêtik prepares, organises and drafts. Advice, decisions and submission stay with the broker.
